How to make a flower in fabric ?

Flower power

A boring cardigan with blue and red stripes...

What did I do ?

I cut off the red stripe on the sleeves and the bottom.

I cut off the middle with the buttons and stiched the hems together.

I glued a black ribbon verticaly in the middle with an iron.

I made a few fabric flowers which I stiched as an embelishment

Result, with a bit of blue sky :)

Et voilà !

Last night I went to the party organised by Folksy for Christmas upcycle do at the Fellow in Kings cross.

I met a lot of nice girls who have the same hobby as me, the drinks were free, I learnt tips for marketing and I learnt how to make a flower out of men's shirts, and finger knitting...
